Our attorneys have worked with each other for decades with all of our partners working for two of the largest firms in Pittsburgh: Reed Smith and Buchanan Ingersoll. When those firms eliminated their matrimonial law departments, those of us who love the practice of family law saw an opportunity in 2001 to found a firm dedicated to family law.

We are respected in the courtroom for making strong cases. Our opposition knows that we are not shy about going to trial, and this creates pressure to settle cases. We frequently speak, educate, author and edit publications on the matters that are at the heart of what we do: custody, support property valuation, high net worth individuals, dividing marital property, adoptions, premarriage agreements and postnuptial agreements.
